Security at AskPunch
Punch combines account verification, permission-based data access, protected server operations, and community moderation to reduce risk. No online service can promise absolute security.
Account protection
Punch uses authenticated sessions for account actions. Administrative tools also require a verified staff role rather than relying on settings stored in a visitor’s browser.
Access controls
Stored activity is protected by database access policies. People can change or remove content only where their identity and permissions allow it.
Protected service credentials
Private service credentials stay on protected server processes and are not placed in the browser. Public app configuration is kept separate from private credentials.
Reports and moderation
People can report abusive questions and answers. Verified moderators can review pending reports and take appropriate action through the moderation area.
Protect your account
- Use a unique password and keep verification codes private.
- Do not share sensitive information in public posts, comments, or Jarvis messages.
- Review unexpected account activity and sign out on shared devices.
- Use the Report action when content appears abusive or unsafe.
Report a security concern
Describe the affected page, what happened, and when it occurred through an official AskPunch contact channel. Do not include passwords, session codes, or private credentials. Content abuse should use the Report action on the relevant punch or answer.
